The municipality of Opoczno plans to renovate public buildings. For this reason, current architectural documentation is necessary. We visited several locations with our Faro scanner. Within a few days we have scanned the elevations of 11 objects. Point clouds have been used as the basis for 2D drawings, which allowed for accurate mapping of the actual surface of the façade. Calculation of these areas allows to plan renovation works, define all costs at the design stage and optimizing of the entire process.
Benefits:
- reduction of working time, through the use of fast spatial scanning technique than traditional measurement methods;
- estimation and minimization of labor costs at the design stage due to the calculation of net and gross area of individual façades on the current architectural and construction documentation of facilities.
