3D model of a 21-story office building in New York

The ideal solution for preparing new technical documentation in the form of floor plans and confronting it with the archival database is to create a 3D model of the building using the Revit program.

This method was used on the project straight from Manhattan. The object of modeling was a 21-storey skyscraper, including: walls with door and window, staircases and structural elements such as columns and beams.

The effects of the work were visualized in the form of photos and videos of the model with the surroundings (with changes in the time of day). Thanks to this solution, it is possible to observe the sun’s rays along with the control of the interior shading.
