In August 2018 we perform a 3D scan of the Palm House, located in the Oliwa Park in Gdańsk. The process of measuring the structure of the building, 24m high and 17m wide, lasted for several hours and it was needed to perform 22 positions. Point cloud obtained in this way was subjected to a 3D study, model was used to verify the conformity of the raised metal skeleton of the rotunda with the design and to obtain current sleepers for collision-free design of glass elements.
Benefits:
- 3D compliance control allows you to find and repair workmanship errors, thanks to which we save time and reduce production costs of parts;
- measurement accuracy: +/- 5 mm;
- elimination of possible collisions at the design stage, implementation of several concepts and selection the best one.
