The 3D scanning technology gives a new, unprecedented opportunity, 3D measurement of museum exhibits, creation of virtual museums, 3D publication of objects on the internet and conducting research on exhibits.
The use of optical scanners in structured light technology makes it possible to determine the surface of an object in the form of a spatial point cloud (XYZ) along with applying the actual texture. Thanks to this, you can become the owners of a colorful point cloud reflecting the geometry of the object, characterized by the highest quality and the highest resolution on the market. The acquired data are currently the most precise perpetual documentation of the exhibits, which can also be used for 3D printing, creating virtual museums and many other forms of presentation.
Archaeological research requires the development of a large amount of field documentation using traditional methods. Opposite this is 3D scanning technology that displaces traditional 2D field documentation. It brings measurable benefits, above all an incomparable amount of spatial details measured, scanning time is only a few minutes, the ability to use data for accurate spatial analysis. The point cloud or mesh 3D model can be additionally used to create visualizations and animations for promotional purposes.
THANKS TO THE HIGHEST ACCURACY OF THE 3D SCANNERS USED AND SPECIALIZED SOFTWARE, WE PERFORM:
- High resolution 3D models of exhibits (mesh model).
- Publication of 3D exhibits in SketchFab and websites using augmented reality VR and augmented AR.
- Accurate analysis of exhibits, along with reconstruction of damages.
- 2D documentation with full exhibit characteristics.
- Animation and visualizations.
- 360 photography.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES OF THE SERVICES OFFERED:
VERSATILITY – measurement data are saved in universal formats, thanks to which you can load them into all professional measurement data editing programs, among others GeoMagic, Rapidform, 3D studio, 3Ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, 3D Reshaper.
SAFETY – the 3D scanners I use only use white light, giving a 100% guarantee of the safety of measured exhibits. Structured light technology scanners do not use lasers.
HIGHEST QUALITY – 3D scanning provides the highest quality spatial data. Incomparably larger amount of data obtained compared to traditional measurement methods.
NEW POSSIBILITIES – performing accurate spatial analyzes, preparing 3D models for 3D printing and the ability to implement them in augmented reality. The use of 3D technology gives a new look at science, history and archeology. Check on your own!
