Once again, we had the opportunity to visit KGHM O / Huta Miedzi in Legnica. This time we made a 3D scan of crane tracks along with crane beams on the 250 m section, and we established a geodetic network on the whole Refinery Fire facility. The next step was to analyze the geometry of the crane track. This task required the highest accuracy on the entire 250 m long line segment. We scanned 480 m of the crane track altogether. An additional task was to prepare the point cloud animation with its visualization.
Benefits
- The measurement was made during the technological break, the whole took 10 hours;
- 3D scanning, allows you to perform a full cross-section of the track along with the beam, anywhere and subjecting it to further analysis;
- 3D scanning did not stop the work being carried out during the technological break.
