The implementation of the quality management system in the factory requires that all working machines have up-to-date technical documentation. For this purpose, we have made a 3D scan to reproduce the technical documentation for two machines. During the technological break within 5 hours, we performed a 3D scan acquiring the full geometry of the machines. Then in Inventor 2017, we developed 3D models based on which we prepared the technical documentation.
Benefits:
- 3D scanning time of two machines is less than 2.5 hours, not comparable with the classical method;
- the 3D model made, faithfully reflects all geometry;
- 3D models can be freely modified, and the technical documentation will be updated in a few moments.
