BIM Meet Up 2023 in Tricity: An Unforgettable Event – scan3D had the opportunity to co-organize this fantastic meeting!
On December 8, 2023, an extraordinary event from the BIM Meet Up Tricity 2023 series took place at the Gdańsk University of Technology in Gdańsk, which gathered leading specialists and enthusiasts of BIM technology and 3D scanning. scan3D had the honor of co-organizing this meeting, which was an exceptional distinction and a huge step forward for our company.
The meeting was devoted to key issues related to BIM in construction and the ways in which modern technologies, such as 3D scanning and georadar, can support the implementation of complex investments. There was also a discussion of interesting implementations, model management and maintaining standards.
Szymon Bloch gave a fascinating presentation on the integration of underground and above-ground 3D scanning. He explained in an accessible way how these advanced technologies can help create precise spatial models, which ultimately leads to minimizing errors on construction sites. With this sentence: “There can be no BIMexplosion on the investment site”, he drew attention to the importance of solid planning and coordination of work using modern tools.
During this event, the slogan “Artur knows!” was also born, which became a symbol of precision and reliability in the implementation of 3D scanning of underground infrastructure. This is just one of many examples of how theory met practice during BIM Meet Up 2023.
For us, as the scan3D company, co-organizing this event was both a challenge and a great pleasure. We would like to thank all the speakers and participants for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, which will undoubtedly contribute to the development of BIM technology and 3D scanning in Poland.
